It was a great way to end a fantastic afternoon out with the girls. Our server was excellent and did not miss a beat, she also graciously gave us a platter of biscotti on the house for dessert, and the manager gave everyone biscotti to take home. The sandwich choices came with delicious steak fries that were more like homemade potato chips. We moved onto an assortment of entrees, shrimp piccata, chicken parm, sweet potato ravioli, fish tacos and grilled chicken. It had a mixture of cheeses, carmelized onions and crispy bacon, it was a great starter. We decided to share the mac and cheese with bacon as an appetizer and everyone agreed it was the best we’ve ever had. with wine and cocktails from their extensive list. We were seated in our own private room with a window looking into the kitchen like a chef’s table. Salute is at the top of my list for the occasional trips we take to Hartford - what a gem!
